Hi and welcome to the page of our HOPPER girls.

This is taken from th FAs website, Football is the fastest growing and top female sport, this season 133,000 girls are competing in affiliated league competition football !!

FA research has show that more than 1.5 million girls under the age of 15 have played some form of football in the past 12 months

As a club we are very excited about being able to offer a girls only training session on a tuesday night from 7pm-8pm, at the marsh academy. Training will be available for girls aged 8-14.

Our aim at Grasshoppers is  to enter girls teams into the East kent youth league next season at age groups under 9/10s,under 11/12s, and under 13/14s. We now have lots of volunteers helping out, I have taken on the role of assistant manager along side another mum Sarah who is the new manager of the under 11/12 girls. But Of course it takes a lot of planning and time and we will need parents to volunteer to help out in any way they can from managing, this will mean going on a level 1 coaching course (which the club will pay for),to admin help, transport getting to and from matches and finding sponsors.

We hope to make your childs time with us a lot of fun whilst teaching them the skills and techniques they will need to compete as part of a great HOPPER team..
